Golden opportunity for graduates and 12th pass youth!
Out of the total 8,875 posts for this recruitment, 5,817 posts are for graduates. While 3,057 posts have been reserved for 12th pass candidates. That is, whether the son of a farmer or the son of the poor, if he is a 12th pass or a graduate, he will get a chance to do a railway job.
What is the age limit?
The age limit for 12th pass candidates is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for applying for graduate posts is 18 to 33 years. The government age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Divyang and Ex-Servicemen.
How will the recruitment process be?
For this recruitment, there will be two stages of computer-based tests (CBT-1 and CBT-2). After that, typing/skill test, document verification and finally medical examination will be conducted for some posts.
In CBT-1, one hundred questions (40 General Knowledge, 30 Mathematics, 30 Intelligence Test) will be asked. In CBT-2, 120 questions (50 General Knowledge, 35 Mathematics, 35 Intelligence Test) will be asked. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
What is the application process?
The application process will start between October-November 2025. Candidates should apply on www.rrbcdg.gov.in or the website of their respective regional RRB.
How much will you get in salary?
The selected candidates will be paid as per the Seventh Pay Commission (7th CPC). The salary will vary depending on the post but it is considered that a railway job means a secure future.
