Which posts will be filled?
The maximum number of posts in this recruitment are for the post of Tradesman Mate. A total of 469 posts will be recruited through this mega recruitment. Apart from this, applications have also been invited for various posts like Chargeman (9 posts), Fire Engine Driver (18 posts), Fireman (103 posts) and Pest Control Worker (75 posts). This means that a boy from rural areas with 10th pass or other qualifications can now directly get a job in the Indian Navy.
The selection of candidates for this recruitment will be based on a written examination. This examination will be held across the country, after which the document verification of eligible candidates and other stages will be completed. If we consider the salary scale, good salaries will be applicable for these posts as per the Seventh Pay Commission. For example, in Level-6, the salary will be Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400. Tradesman Mate and Pest Control Worker will get a salary of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 as per Level-1.
Most importantly, seats have been reserved for ex-servicemen and differently-abled candidates in this recruitment. Due to this, candidates from all walks of life will get an opportunity.
